Luno will undergo scheduled database maintenance to perform essential infrastructure upgrades. This maintenance is necessary to ensure system integrity and continue providing optimal service to our customers. Maintenance Schedule Start Date/Time: Oct 18, 2026 9:00 AM UTC End Date/Time: Oct 18, 2026 10:00 AM UTC Estimated Duration: 1 hour During this period, the Luno exchange will operate with limited functionality, and our Instant buy and sell service will be interrupted. Impact on Trading on the Exchange During the maintenance window, the exchange will be placed in Maintenance mode. This means: - All trading is unavailable - you cannot place or cancel any orders on the exchange via the Website, Apps or API. - Existing open orders will remain in the order book - they will not be cancelled. - No new trades will be executed during this period. This means: - Instant buy and sell of fiat-crypto pairs will be unavailable during the maintenance window. - Instant buy and sell of crypto-crypto pairs will remain unaffected. - Luno Pay may experience degraded performance or delays. What Still Works Although some functions may experience degraded performance during the migration: - You can still access your account, view balances, and review transaction history. - Deposits and withdrawals (fiat and crypto) remain available. - Staking and unstaking continue to work. - Wallet balance and transaction updates may be slightly delayed. What You Need to Do - Plan your transactional activities accordingly, taking into account the maintenance window and its timings. - Consider completing any critical transactions before or after the maintenance period. - Monitor our status page for real-time updates on the maintenance progress. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our services. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
