Marqeta engineers detected downstream impact affecting Visa stand-in processing (STIP) on EU card programs. During this period, some transactions may have been approved or declined by network stand-in rather than Marqeta's real-time authorization engine. Marqeta engineers engaged Visa directly, and the impact ended at 09:58 PT (16:58 UTC) as transaction processing returned to normal operations.
